2. Children missing educationλ®φ are children of compulsorγ↕αβy school age who are not registered p←λupils at a school and are not receivσ↕↕ing suitable education ot™£herwise than at a school. Children missing ☆education are at significant risk of undera$ ♦chieving, being victi✔↔€ms of harm, exploitation $ or radicalisation, and becoming NEET (not in edu÷ ∞$cation, employment or β εtraining) later in life.
3. Effective information sh$↓♥aring between parents, schools and local authori'₩≈∏ties is critical to ensuring that all children of★ δ≠ compulsory school age are safe an✘εd receiving suitable education.

Use of Computers and Internet
Since the development of resΩ↔×ponsible, considerate and indepen♣€↕♠dent use of computers an₽$♦ d the internet is imp↔ φ'ortant for a student’s educatiγ™$on, but it is essential to outlin≈±e appropriate compute↔α✔σr use and provide guidelines as to ≤γtheir safe use. Some material aσccessible via the inte>φ ©rnet may be illegal, deε$famatory, inaccurate or potentially offens$±≤ive.
Students should ensure memory stic<γks or other storage media are free fro₹≤m computer viruses and any software ÷×on personally owned machines isγ± legally licensed.
Students are not allowed &↓ to use the internet for any illegal activity, th≤♠∑'is includes accessing sites meant for adult' ®≤s or 18 years or older such as pornographi∞≠φc or gambling sites. Students mus↕♠t not search for, or browse through, an₩ &y sites that contain offensive, ob<scene, violent, dangerous, inflammat¶ ory, racist or extremist m∞γaterial. Downloading any unlicensed mat €erial such as music, video, TV programmes, ga&¶mes and PDF files is illegal and therefore¥€≤ not permitted.
Whilst use of social ne∞£"≈tworking sites has brought about φ♥± a communications revolution that giv€σes young people unrivalled o∏<Ωpportunities, it also brings ris∞φ♦ks. It is importan≠₹t that students understand these risks, know hoπ§w to stay safe in thi® s environment and how to av >oid making themselves vulnerable t☆ש♥o a range of issues including identity theft, b♦δ≠ullying, harassment, gro≠&≤'oming and abuse. They also₩π need to learn how to avoid the risk of exposin↑₽&♠g themselves to subsequent embarrassment ®¥due to an inappropriate personal profile or£Ω↓ inclusion on others’ profile. The Child E< ∑xploitation and Onli÷$&ne Protection body (CEOP) provides some useful↔¶ guidelines and advice for parents, guardians,σ host families and students.
Any type of hacking (de<©fined as attempt to ✔gain access to folders, database≠₩↑¥s, or other material on the network t¥>σo which one is not entitled) is considered $₩βto be an extremely se₽♣÷rious offence. To comply with the Computer®≥→ Misuse Act 1990, any student who i•₹ε"ndulges in hacking or≤✘ is found with hacking software/paraphernal↓≥ia on their computer can expect to face serious c÷←Ω♦onsequences. Likewise, physical i♥∏φnterference with any other computer is not tole♣↓£rated.
UK Tuition Guardians will not accept liability f₩✔or the loss or damage to any comp☆ uters owned by the student or borrowed frφπφ¥om anyone.
